Just last week, Lopilato gushed over her hubby on Instagram after he received one of Canada\u2019s highest honours.<\/p>\n
The singer \u2013 whose career began at 18 when he won the Canadian Youth Talent Search \u2013 was performing in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in November 2008, when he met the well-known local actress, who is 12 years his junior.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey met at a party the record company threw for him after his show in Buenos Aires,\u201d a friend of the couple told\u00a0People<\/em>\u00a0in 2010.<\/p>\n \u201cThe head of the label wanted to introduce Michael to Argentina\u2019s most famous actress. When he met her, he said it was love at first sight.\u201d<\/p>\n Bubl\u00e9 told Ireland\u2019s\u00a0RT\u00c9 One<\/em>\u00a0in 2012, \u201cI saw her across a room when my security were throwing me in a van.<\/p>\n \u201cMy grandfather was with me and I said, \u2018You know, Grandpa, that\u2019s the most beautiful woman I\u2019ve ever seen and I\u2019m never going to see her again.’\u201d<\/p>\n But he did, just a few hours later. After learning the man she arrived with was just a friend, they got to know each other, despite not speaking the same language.<\/p>\n \u201cShe couldn\u2019t speak English, I couldn\u2019t speak Spanish,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Bubl\u00e9 once told\u00a0Access Hollywood<\/em>\u00a0they relied on technology and bilingual friends to communicate in the early days of their relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cWe would use a computer to translate and speak to each other,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know, Grandpa, that\u2019s the most beautiful woman I\u2019ve ever seen and I\u2019m never going to see her again\u201d<\/p>\n They later learned each other\u2019s languages.<\/p>\n The two became engaged exactly a year later but the news was only announced the following January.<\/p>\n Bubl\u00e9 later revealed he wrote his 2009 hit song\u00a0Haven\u2019t Met You Yet<\/em>\u00a0about Lopilato, who starred in the music video.<\/p>\n The couple married on March 31, 2011, in a small civil ceremony in Buenos Aires followed by a larger ceremony the following weekend.<\/p>\n A third ceremony was held in Canada two months later.<\/p>\n They revealed in January 2013 they were expecting their first child. Son, Noah, was born in August 2013. Another son, Elias, was born in January 2016.<\/p>\n But their world was shattered months later when Noah, then three, was diagnosed with cancer.<\/p>\n With Bubl\u00e9 on tour, Lopilato had taken the kids to Buenos Aires in late 2016 when he fell ill. Doctors thought he had mumps, before finding \u201csomething in his stomach.\u201d<\/p>\n She flew back to the US, where Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer.<\/p>\n The pair announced the diagnosis on Facebook in November that year, writing, \u201cWe are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.<\/p>\n \u201cLuisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.<\/p>\n \u201cAt this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.\u201d<\/p>\n Noah\u2019s treatment ended in March 2017.<\/p>\n When Bubl\u00e9 accepted an award that year, he thanked his wife. \u201cThere are no words to describe how I feel about you. Sometimes \u2018I love you\u2019 just isn\u2019t enough because what I feel is just so much more.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple announced in February 2018 they were expecting a third child. Daughter Vida arrived in July that year.<\/p>\n He again honoured Lopilato when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later that year.<\/p>\n \u201cMy wife, there\u2019s nothing I can really say that can express how I feel about her and what we\u2019ve been through. She is my hero and my rock.\u201d<\/p>\n She called him \u201cthe most amazing man and father\u201d in an Instagram post to mark his birthday in 2020.<\/p>\n \u201cYou are my partner, my other half, my strength and my one and perfect lover,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Bubl\u00e9 marked their 10th wedding anniversary in 2021 with an Instagram post.<\/p>\n \u201cIn 10 years of marriage, we\u2019ve been through so much Lu\u2026 The good things in life have been better with you, and you\u2019ve helped lift me through some of the hardest times imaginable,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re my way better half, my hero and the light of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n He dedicated his 2022 album\u00a0Higher<\/em>\u00a0to his wife and kids.<\/em><\/p>\n They even used the music video for his hit song\u00a0I\u2019ll Never Not Love You<\/em>\u00a0to reveal they were expecting again, with his wife appearing at the end of the video\u00a0with her baby bump on display.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s nothing I can really say that can express how I feel about her and what we\u2019ve been through\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n They announced the arrival of daughter Cielo in August 2022.<\/p>\n In a 2023 interview with\u00a0Red<\/em>, Bubl\u00e9 said \u201ceach other\u2019s fulfillment\u201d was the key to their happy marriage.<\/p>\n He also added, \u201cWe don\u2019t care what we do \u2013 being together is the goal.\u201d<\/p>\n Bubl\u00e9, now 49, and Lopilato, 37, live in a $30 million mansion in Vancouver, Canada.<\/p>\n In February, the two attended a \u2018magical\u2019 dinner with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.<\/p>\n Then in November, they looked loved up when she appeared by his side as he received a Horatio Alger Award.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
