The popular sportscaster took to social media this week to show off a pair of \u2018new wheels\u2019 that had been specially made for her child, potentially hinting that he is about to follow the same path as his father<\/h2>\n

Erin Andrews could hardly contain her excitement after her one-year-old son, Mack, was gifted his first pair of ice skates. The popular sportscaster\u00a0is married to former NHL star Jarret Stoll\u00a0and the couple could now be about to see their son follow in his dad\u2019s footsteps.<\/p>\n

Andrews, who is\u00a0yet to resolve her immediate future\u00a0after seeing\u00a0her contract with Fox Sports run out\u00a0at the end of the 2024\u00a0NFL\u00a0season,\u00a0welcomed Mack via surrogate in July 2023\u00a0following a\u00a0nine-year battle with in vitro fertilization (IVF), leading her and Stoll to take the surrogate route in order to have children.<\/p>\n

The arrival of Mack came five years after Andrews and Stoll tied the knot, with the former\u00a0ice hockey\u00a0star popping the question in 2016 after four years of dating.\u00a0A key figure within the sport, Stoll won the revered Stanley Cup twice in 2012 and 2014 with the\u00a0Los Angeles\u00a0Kings, and featured for the likes of the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, and Minnesota Wild.<\/p>\n

Now, it appears as though his son is all but set up to follow in his footsteps after Andrews took to\u00a0Instagram on Monday to show off Mack\u2019s brand new pair of ice skates. \u201cThank you @bauerhockey for the new wheels. @stolly28 couldn\u2019t wait to lace up Mackey\u2019s 1st skates!\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

In the brief clip, played to the backing of \u201cDream On\u201d by Aerosmith, Stoll could be seen unlacing the smart-looking pair of black skates as he prepared to fit them on his son\u2019s feet. Fitted with a clean blue trim and white laces, along with a \u201cBauer\u201d logo on the side of the shoe as well as the tongue, they certainly looked the part and fans could only imagine what Mack would look like wearing them on the ice.<\/p>\n

\u201cStop it!!! The cutest! And the song in the background!!\u201d one person commented. \u201cAnd it starts. So cute,\u201d said another. A third person wrote: \u201cBrings back memories\u2026Save those 1st pair of skates! The most adorable part of hockey is when they are so little.\u201d A fourth user added: \u201cThat is adorable!\u201d<\/p>\n
