Hannah Harper teamed up with her idol, Lee Ann Womack, for a performance during the\u00a0American Idol\u00a0<\/em>finale.<\/h2>\n

Ever since\u00a0Hannah Harper\u2018s\u00a0American Idol<\/em>\u00a0audition aired nearly four months ago, she has been compared to some of the greatest female voices in country music. Among those are Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, and Lee Ann Womack.<\/p>\n

In keeping with\u00a0Idol\u00a0<\/em>tradition, the hopefuls who advanced to the last few weeks of competition had the opportunity to team up with an idol of their own for a performance. For Hannah Harper, her dream was to sing with Lee Ann Womack. That dream came true on Monday night.<\/p>\n

In a video shared on social media by\u00a0American Idol<\/em>, Hannah was asked who some of her favorite country artists are. Without hesitation, she shared that \u201cLee Ann Womack is at the top. Her songs \u2013 I love singing them. It\u2019s my style of music. It\u2019s the music that I want to create now in 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lee Ann then surprised Hannah with the news that they would be singing together. She told Harper, \u201cGirl, you\u2019re on a whirlwind. You are everywhere, and I\u2019m loving it. I love every clip that I\u2019ve been sent. I love your voice. I love your performance. I your you.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that she is looking forward to meeting Hannah in person. \u201cI\u2019m gonna make a great new friend, and we\u2019re gonna make great music, and we\u2019re gonna make great memories.\u201d<\/p>\n
