She sang with Hannah Harper, who is in the show\u2019s Top 5 this season, in only her second such appearance since 2023.<\/p>\n<p data-idx=\"1\" data-imp-id=\"article_paragraph_1\" data-trigger-once=\"true\">Kellie Pickler starred on the show in 2006. As the show marked its 20th year of that season via a reunion, she sang Martina McBride\u2019s song,\u00a0<em>A Broken Wing<\/em>, with Hannah Harper. Pickler had, notably, finished sixth in her season on\u00a0<em>American Idol<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-4\"><\/div>\n<p data-idx=\"1\" data-imp-id=\"article_paragraph_1\" data-trigger-once=\"true\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d2xyxq01uvku0q.cloudfront.net\/e9ad5a3a-99de-469d-be11-e66f0938a72b.png\" alt=\"Who is Kellie Pickler? She was also seen on\u00a0<em>Dancing With the Stars<\/em>\u00a0and some reality shows. However, Kellie Pickler has largely kept out of the spotlight since her husband, Kyle Jacobs, died in 2023.<\/p>\n<p data-idx=\"3\" data-imp-id=\"article_paragraph_3\" data-trigger-once=\"true\"><strong>Jacobs died by suicide on February 17, 2023<\/strong>. He and Pickler had met in 2008 and gotten married three years later. Jacobs was a songwriter, vocalist, and musician. She once sang in 2024 during a tribute to the late Patsy Cline. After that, she has now appeared on the new episode of\u00a0<em>American Idol<\/em>. Following her performance with Harper, judge Lionel Richie said (h\/t Entertainment Weekly):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAll I can say is, the perfect voice blend and complement. In August that year, she released a statement about Jacobs and thanked her fans for their consistent support for her and her family. She then saw a closed door in their house, which she and her personal assistant couldn\u2019t open.
