Reba McEntire And Garth Brooks Join Forces For All-Star Grand Ole Opry NBC Special<\/h1>\n

Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks are part of an all-star, three-hour Grand Ole Opry special, airing in March on\u00a0NBC.<\/em>\u00a0The two superstars will be part of\u00a0Opry 100: A Live Celebration<\/em>, hosted by Blake Shelton. They will be joined by Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, Carly Pearce, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson and many more.<\/p>\n

Opry 100: A Live Celebration<\/em>\u00a0is in honor of the Grand Ole Opry\u2019s 100th anniversary. Randy Travis will make a special appearance. Other guest artists will also appear, including Amy Grant, Eric Church, Jelly Roll and The War And Treaty.<\/p>\n

Opry 100: A Live Celebration<\/em>\u00a0will air on Wednesday, March 19 on\u00a0NBC<\/em>. The show will also stream on\u00a0Peacock<\/em>.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Reba McEntire\u2019s Opry Anniversary<\/h2>\n

McEntire recently celebrated her own Grand Ole Opry anniversary. The Oklahoma native became a member on January 17, 1986.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Grand Ole Opry is a home,\u201d McEntire\u00a0says. \u201cIt\u2019s a family. It\u2019s like a family reunion, when you come back and get to see everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unlike some other artists, McEntire waited almost a decade after her debut to become a member. She first performed on the iconic stage on September 17, 1977, although that night didn\u2019t go quite as planned.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was supposed to sing two songs,\u201d McEntire recalls (via\u00a0The Tennessean<\/em>). \u201cBut they came to me when I got there and said, \u2018Oh, we\u2019re going to have to cut you down to one song because Dolly Parton just pulled up into the driveway and she\u2019s going to take one of your songs.\u201d<\/p>\n

McEntire has been an integral part of the Opry since her debut. In 2018, she\u00a0inducted Dustin Lynch\u00a0into the Opry. And in 2024, she\u00a0invited Wilson\u00a0to become a Grand Ole Opry member.<\/p>\n
