Singer, songwriter, and star of the West End, Sydnie Christmas has shared her new single \u2018Run\u2019 through Westway Music. The song is written by Christmas alongside Gabrielle Aplin and Ash Howes (who also produced the track). It marks her first release as a songwriter. Listen to it below.<\/p>\n

Writing is such a hard process and it\u2019s very hard not to think about trying to write a hit, when there\u2019s no easy recipe for that,\u201d says Christmas. \u201cActually, what you need to do is just write from the heart and be honest and that\u2019s what I\u2019ve been doing writing for my new album. I\u2019ve been writing songs since I was 11 and writing this album is a journey I\u2019ve longed to be on since then. It\u2019s become clear to me that you need to write the songs YOU want to write, telling the stories YOU want to telL.<\/p>\n

Sydnie Christmas first captured the nation\u2019s attention through her performances and victory on the 2024 series of Britain\u2019s Got Talent. She went on to release her debut album \u2018My Way\u2019, which topped the iTunes chart in both the UK and US, followed by a sold-out UK tour including a night at the Adelphi Theatre, which was recorded for US television network PBS.<\/p>\n
