Michael Bubl\u00e9\u00a0gave\u00a0Prince Harry\u00a0his props during a recent performance.<\/p>\n

During Friday\u2019s Invictus Games celebrations in Vancouver, Canada, the 48-year-old Grammy winner sang a rendition of\u00a0Frank Sinatra\u2019s classic hit \u201cMy Way,\u201d complete with new lyrics that both praised the Duke of Sussex, 39, for being a \u201cvisionary\u201d and offered \u201chealing wishes\u201d to\u00a0King Charles\u00a0amid his recent\u00a0cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n

The performance took place at the One Year to Go Dinner event at Vancouver\u00a0Convention Center, where Bubl\u00e9 sang the track that was co-written with Paul Anka.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the song, he explained that he was happy to show both the Duke and his wife,\u00a0Meghan Markle, \u201chow beautiful this place is,\u201d referring to his home country of Canada.<\/p>\n

Bubl\u00e9 previously performed \u201cMy Way\u201d both on tour and as a\u00a0studio version\u00a0with Andrea Bocelli and Anka, 82, in 2021 off Anka\u2019s\u00a0Making Memories<\/em>\u00a0LP.<\/p>\n

In 2022, Bubl\u00e9\u00a0opened up to PEOPLE\u00a0ahead of the release of his album\u00a0Higher<\/em>, which included a cover of another Sinatra track, \u201cA Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square,\u201d about his job as a performer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a protector of the great American songbook, and I know that I stand on the shoulders of my heroes,\u201d Bubl\u00e9 said of covering the greats. \u201cThe great American songbook, I think, is the greatest thing that America ever gave to the arts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo the fact that I can be a small part of protecting it and keeping it alive and introducing it to a new generation of people is honestly pretty humbling to me. I will always take it seriously, and I will always do my best to make my heroes proud,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Bubl\u00e9\u2019s serenade took place after the musician joined Prince Harry and Meghan, 42, at the Hillcrest Community Centre in Vancouver Friday for\u00a0some wheelchair curling.<\/p>\n

Following his appearance at the Winter Training Camp \u2014 before the 2025 Invictus Games kick off for service personnel and veterans in Whistler and Vancouver \u2014 the Duke thanked the audience for their \u201ccommitment to making Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I am with the Invictus community surrounded by so many brave men and women who have served their countries with distinction, I feel humbled and at home,\u201d he said at the dinner, before toasting the decade anniversary of the Invictus Games.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe past decade has been a testament to the power of resilience and the unbreakable spirit you all exemplify,\u201d Prince Harry added. \u201cAnd boy have we had fun on the way!
