When contestant Chloe Lauren took the stage for her latest performance on Monday, March 9, the contestant stumbled over her words \u2014 and Underwood encouraged her to keep going.<\/p>\n

For the singing competition show\u2019s \u2018Ohana Round, Lauren chose to sing\u00a0Adele\u2019s \u201cHello.\u201d Though she started off strong, by the time she got to the chorus, she didn\u2019t quite hit the timing.<\/p>\n

\u201cKeep going, keep going,\u201d Underwood, 43, said, as the crowd also cheered her on.<\/p>\n

The country singer, 43, added, \u201cCome on, come on, come on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauren recovered quickly and finished her performance \u2014 but she appeared in distress after the song was over.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re alright,\u201d judge\u00a0Lionel Richie, 76, said to the contestant as he cheered her on.<\/p>\n

After the cheering died down, Underwood gave Lauren some feedback on her performance \u2014 and recovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re here because we love your voice. It is not about the little things that can go wrong during the performance,\u201d the \u201cCowboy Casanova\u201d singer said.<\/p>\n

She conluded, \u201cIt really is how you shove it aside and finish strong. You got back on that horse and took off real quick. Way to finish strong.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a confessional after the performance, Lauren said, \u201cI think I just got lost in myself a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Underwood\u00a0faced some heat\u00a0from the\u00a0Idol<\/em>\u00a0audience after she told a contestant that singing without a backing band was a \u201cmissed opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel you guys are gonna boo me,\u201d she said to the audience. \u201cIt\u2019s coming \u2014 just bring it on. I love it. Your boos are feeding me.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the audience continued to express their disappointment, fellow judge\u00a0Luke Bryan, 49,\u00a0jumped in to defend her.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe only won this,\u201d he said, referring to\u00a02005\u00a0victory\u00a0on the singing competition show. \u201cShe knows.\u201d<\/p>\n
